The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said that it has concluded the registration process of over two million candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) holding in April.
The update contained in JAMB’s weekly bulletin, said the registered number of candidates was as of March 8, 2025. The Board also noted that the figure excludes candidates registered for the examination at foreign centres.
The board stated that the registration process, which began on February 3, 2025, saw a total of ok over 2 million candidates successfully complete their registration, allowing them to participate in the UTME scheduled for April 25, 2025.
Additionally, 200,115 candidates have indicated interest in taking the optional mock UTME slated for April 5, 2025.
