The Minister of State for Works, Muhammad Goronyo, has said the Federal government has made adequate budgetary provisions for the completion of roads across the county, while Katsina State alone has five.
Reports say that in Katsina State alone, five roads are set for execution to include Katsina-Kano dualisation road, Kano-Daura-Kongolom, and Kwanar Babangida-Kagara road, as well as Kafur-Dabai-Malumfashi and Katsina-Kazaure-Maiadua road.
The Minister who stated this when he visited the state, was received by the Deputy Governor, Farouk Jobec, at the Government House on behalf of Governor Dikko Radda.
According to report, the minister’s visit to the state was part of his familiarisation tour to the ongoing Federal Government projects particularly in the North West region of the country.
He said that he is in compliance with an order of president Tinubu to assess all projects started by the previous administration across the six geopolitical zones of the country. He therefore pleaded with the state government to provide security to the construction firm to ensure the timely execution of the projects.
