The House of Representatives has passed for second reading, the 1.78 trillion naira 2025 Appropriation Bill of the Federal Capital Territory.
A breakdown of the total amount showed that 150.3 billion naira is for personnel costs, 343.7 billion naira is for overhead costs, and the balance of 1.28 trillion naira is earmarked for the execution of capital projects.
The bill was passed for a second reading and referred to the House Committees on Federal Capital Territory and FCT Area Councils/Ancillary Matters for further legislative action.
