Popular Nollywood actor, Lekan Olatunji, has opened up about a traumatic period in his life when he lost his memory following a serious car accident that nearly claimed his life.
In an emotional interview, Olatunji revealed that the accident left him hospitalised for three months, during which he underwent extensive treatment and recovery. According to the actor, the incident was so severe that it temporarily affected his ability to remember anything, leaving him in a confused and vulnerable state.
“I lost my memory after the accident,” he shared. “It was a terrifying experience, not knowing who you are or recognising anyone around you.”
Olatunji went on to express heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and medical team who managed his recovery, commending their dedication and professionalism throughout his time in the hospital. He also thanked God for sparing his life, describing his survival and recovery as nothing short of a miracle.
The actor, known for his roles in Yoruba-language films, urged fans and the public to value life and health, adding that his ordeal gave him a new perspective on gratitude and the importance of family and support.
