Federal Government and State of Israel considers joint commission to enhance bilateral relations

 The Federal Government and the State of Israel are considering a joint commission that would drive and enhance their bilateral relations.

This is as Israel expressed its readiness to deepen trade with Nigeria while collaborating in the areas of security, agriculture, health, education and film production, among others.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu disclosed this during a meeting with the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria and Permanent Representative to ECOWAS, Michael Freeman, at the Tafawa Balewa House, Abuja.

Harping that people-to-people contacts make diplomacy effective, the minister looked forward to closer ties between both countries and expanding the frontiers.

According to report, the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu is working diligently to improve the life of the poorest of the poor. The target of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs is working to ensure that the poverty-stricken have access to food and other humanitarian services.
