President Bola Tinubu has approved the employment of 774 National Health Fellows, an initiative led by the Federal Ministry of Health to drive sustained improvements in Nigeria’s healthcare system.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement.
The president made the announcement in the presence of development partners, senior government officials, and traditional leaders, including the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
Tinubu commended the initiative and the rigorous selection process, describing it as a vital step towards empowering Nigerian youths. He emphasised that the National Health Fellows initiative is one of several platforms introduced by his administration to equip young professionals and enhance national development.
