In line with its avowed commitment to quality services to its passengers, Ibom Air has announced the temporary suspension of all flights to and from the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, following official communication from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) regarding the emergency rehabilitation of the airport’s runway.
The closure, which has been confirmed through a NOTAM -Notice to Airmen, is scheduled to take place from April 19 to May 6, 2025. During this period, Ibom Air flights operating in and out of Enugu will be on hold, with operations expected to resume on May 7, 2025.
In a press release made available to planet news signed by Aniekan Essienette Group Manager, Marketing, and Communication, ibom Air noted that Affected passengers will be contacted directly by Ibom Air’s Customer Service Team to discuss alternative arrangements or rebooking options.
