The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain focused on securing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, stating that the President needs a second term to consolidate his economic reforms.
In a statement he made this morning, Keyamo warned that it would be “tragic” for another administration to abandon the ongoing fiscal and economic policies. He stressed, “Every single APC member in this country today should be concentrating on the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, irrespective of whether it affects your personal interest or not.”
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria added that inconsistent policy implementation has plagued past administrations, and a second term would allow Tinubu to build on the reforms already in motion.
