In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu acknowledged the significance of the hard-fought electoral triumph, noting that Canada requires a leader with a wealth of experience at this critical time.
The President expressed hope that Carney’s banking and governance expertise would steer Canada effectively through current challenges. He also reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening ties with Canada, particularly in areas such as education, climate change, and migration.
