US President, Donald Trump has reportedly confronted South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa with claims of genocide and land seizures targeting white South Africans.
Recall that the two leaders met at the White House yesterday for what was expected to be a trade-focused discussion. The meeting came as President Ramaphosa sought to improve diplomatic ties and strengthen trade relations with the United States.
Meanwhile, the South African government has dismissed Trump’s claims, insisting that its land reform policies are lawful, non-racial, and subject to legal oversight.
