Sheffield United Sign Nigerian Winger Ehije Ukaki on Three-Year Deal

Sky Bet Championship side Sheffield United have officially completed the signing of Nigerian winger Ehije Ukaki.

The 20-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Blades, becoming the club’s latest addition as preparations intensify ahead of the new season.

Manager Chris Wilder expressed optimism about the deal, noting that Ukaki is a player the coaching staff is eager to develop further. “He is a young talent with great potential, and we’re looking forward to working with him,” Wilder said.

Ukaki joins from Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv, where he impressed last season with seven goals across 37 appearances in all competitions. His standout moment came in the fierce local derby against Lokomotiv Plovdiv, where he scored the match-winning goal.

The transfer marks a key step in Sheffield United’s squad rebuild as they aim for promotion back to the Premier League.
