President Bola Tinubu has lauded former President Muhammadu Buhari as a leader whose administration was defined by integrity, prudence, accountability, and patriotism.
He made this remark at the public presentation of According to the President: Lessons from a Presidential Spokesman’s Experience, a new book by Garba Shehu, former Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Buhari. The event took place in Abuja.
Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, President Tinubu noted that Buhari’s tenure saw significant progress in combating insecurity, infrastructure development, public sector reforms, and efforts aimed at national self-reliance.
He also stressed the importance of documenting Nigeria’s democratic journey, adding that the nation’s story must continually be preserved for future generations.
