Leadership Instability Responsible for Abandoned Projects — NDDC Boss

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Samuel Ogbuku, has attributed the high number of uncompleted projects in the region to persistent leadership instability within the Commission over the past 25 years.

Speaking during an interview, Ogbuku identified the frequent changes in leadership as a major challenge that had undermined consistency and progress in the Commission’s operations.

He emphasised that the NDDC is now focused on implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government, assuring that under the current administration, the Commission is more determined than ever to deliver meaningful development to the Niger Delta region.

Reaffirming the commitment of the Board and Management, Ogbuku said the Commission is fully aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s mandate to transform the narrative in the Niger Delta and ensure the delivery of impactful and sustainable projects.
