Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, who represents Katsina Central, has dismissed rumours suggesting he plans to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement issued on Sunday night, Yar’adua described the reports as baseless and a product of media mischief. He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and President Bola Tinubu, stressing that his political allegiance remains unchanged.
“I wish to categorically reaffirm my unwavering commitment and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC),” he stated.
He also urged the media to ignore speculative reports about his defection, clarifying that the Yar’Adua surname does not automatically indicate political alignment or affiliation with him.
