American rapper Lil Nas X has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including injuring a police officer and resisting arrest, following his detention in Los Angeles last week.
The Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, faces three felony counts of battery with injury to a police officer and one felony count of resisting arrest.
Police said they were responding to a call about a man wandering the streets in his underwear when the 26-year-old allegedly charged at them. He was later taken to hospital for a possible overdose in the early hours of Thursday.
Lil Nas X was arraigned yesterday at a Los Angeles courthouse, where his bail was set at 75,000 dollars.
