Abuja, Nigeria – October 8, 2025

Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, Nigeria’s Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, has resigned from his position following allegations of certificate forgery leveled against him.

The resignation was confirmed in an official statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy. According to the statement, President Tinubu has accepted Nnaji’s decision to step down.
