The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of N2.094 trillion to the Federal Government, states, and local government councils as federation revenue for October 2025.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Bawa Mokwa, following the committee’s November 2025 meeting in Abuja.
According to the statement, the total distributable sum comprised N1.376 trillion in statutory revenue, N670.303 billion in Value Added Tax (VAT), and N47.870 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).
A communiqué issued at the end of the meeting detailed the allocation breakdown: the Federal Government received N758.405 billion, state governments N689.120 billion, and local government councils N505.803 billion. Additionally, N141.359 billion, representing 13% of mineral revenue, was shared to oil-producing states as derivation funds.
FAAC noted that the allocation reflects sustained revenue performance across major sources, reinforcing government fiscal operations at all tiers.
