President Bola Tinubu has pledged that the Federal Government will deploy all necessary state resources to secure the release of students abducted in Maga, Kebbi State.
The assurance was conveyed by Vice President Kashim Shettima during a condolence visit to the state, days after armed attackers kidnapped several schoolgirls from the community.
Arriving at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport alongside the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, and other senior officials, Shettima described the abduction as a deeply troubling incident. He emphasized that President Tinubu’s foremost concern is the safe return of the students and the wellbeing of their families.
The Vice President also commended security agencies for their ongoing efforts and sacrifices, reiterating the administration’s commitment to ensuring that the perpetrators are brought to justice and that students across the country remain safe.
