President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Retired Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Adamu as Chairman of the Military Pensions Board (MPB), which took effect from December 1, 2025.
A statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, said the appointment forms part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen transparency, accountability and efficiency in military pension administration.
President Tinubu urged the new chairman to uphold integrity and patriotism while deploying his financial expertise to improve the welfare of military veterans and ensure effective management of pension resources.
