President Bola Tinubu has approved the transfer of Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN) from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to the mainstream Federal Civil Service as Director of Public Prosecutions in the Federal Ministry of Justice.
The appointment, conveyed in a letter signed by Omolabake Mafe on behalf of the Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, was announced yesterday by the State House Director of Information and Public Relations, Abiodun Oladunjoye.
Oyedepo, 42, will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Abubakar Babadoko, who completes the mandatory eight years as a director today, December 31, 2025.
