NPFL: Akwa United return to Uyo in style, Abia Warriors beat Pillars away

Akwa United make a triumphant return to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo edging out holders Enyimba 3-1 in a Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 23 fixture.

The Promise Keepers started the game on a strong foot with David Philip firing home the opener in seven minutes.

Sani Suleiman added the second goal in the 51st minute dribbling past Ojo Olorunleke before slotting the ball home.

Doma United and Sporting Lagos battled to a 0-0 draw at the Doma United.
