The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed that six persons died while fourteen vehicles were burnt in Abuja accidents.
Police said the accident occurred when a Dangote trailer, heavily loaded with cement and approaching Nyanya Bridge from AYA, lost control and crashed into stationary vehicles trapped in traffic.
A statement by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josphine Adeh, said the remains of the six victims have been deposited at the Karu General Hospital mortuary.
