IPOB Condemns Resumed Trial of Nnamdi Kanu, Labels It Judicial Terrorism

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has strongly condemned the resumed trial of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, describing it as a gross violation of Nigeria’s Constitution, a breach of international law, and an act of judicial terrorism.

In a statement issued on Monday, IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful, called on advocates of freedom and justice both within Nigeria and globally to oppose what he termed a “travesty of justice” and to demand Kanu’s immediate and unconditional release.

Kanu’s trial is scheduled to resume today at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
