The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has recorded more than 3 million completed registrations in the ongoing second phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
According to the week 13 update released in Abuja, the figure includes both online pre-registrations and physical walk-ins at registration centres nationwide as of April 3. Over 2 million citizens completed their pre-registration online, while more than 1 million voters registered physically.
The data also showed that youths aged 18 to 34 accounted for over 2 million of the new registrants, representing 68.43 per cent of total participation.
