Tinubu to Opposition: “You Can’t Scare Me” as He Defends Renewed Hope Agenda

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that he will not be intimidated by opposition forces, insisting that his administration remains focused on delivering its “Renewed Hope” agenda.

Speaking at a meeting with members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, the president expressed gratitude to his supporters and reaffirmed his commitment to national development and democratic governance.

He emphasized the importance of unity and nation-building, saying Nigeria must be guided by one vision and a shared commitment to progress.

Tinubu also stressed respect for the rule of law, warning against disobedience to court orders and urging all political actors to embrace democratic principles.

“We cannot submit to disobedience of a lawful order of the court. We must embrace the judiciary, whether it favours us or not,” he said.

The president called on his supporters to remain active at the grassroots level and continue spreading hope and confidence in government policies.

Responding to opposition coalitions, Tinubu dismissed attempts to intimidate him, saying he remains resolute despite political pressure.

“They want to scare me off, it is a lie. I’ve been through this path before,” he said.

He added that Nigeria’s progress depends on the collective effort of its citizens and their willingness to remain committed to nation-building.

“There is no better place than your own country, and no one can build it except you,” he said.

On the economy, Tinubu said reforms remain necessary despite difficulties, adding that his administration is focused on correcting past challenges and moving the country forward.

“I took over from myself. If something is wrong, correct it and move on,” he said.

He assured supporters that they would not regret standing with his administration, describing governance as a difficult but necessary journey.

“All I can promise is that I won’t give up,” he added.
