President Bola Tinubu has directed the nation’s security chiefs and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to urgently track down those responsible for the recent spate of killings in Benue State.
The President, who gave the order during his visit to the state, addressed senior military and intelligence officials, stressing that while his administration is focused on national development, meaningful progress cannot be achieved without peace and the protection of lives.
He reaffirmed his government’s resolve to restore order and ensure justice for victims, describing the attacks as unacceptable and deeply troubling.
