At least 30 United States military planes have been relocated from domestic bases to Europe, according to reports.
The aircraft are identified as military tankers used for refuelling fighter jets and bombers in flight—an essential component of extended air operations.
The development comes as tensions between Israel and Iran escalate, following Israel’s recent strikes which reportedly destroyed key components of Tehran’s nuclear programme.
This follows a major Israeli offensive launched shortly after the deadline set by former US President Donald Trump for Iran to agree to suspend its nuclear programme elapsed.
