President Bola Tinubu has shifted his return from Europe to September 29, and will head straight to Lagos ahead of Nigeria’s 66th Independence anniversary.
The President, who has been away since August 30 on a working vacation, is expected to participate in activities marking the October 1 celebration. He will also attend the premiere of a documentary on the late businessman and politician, Moshood Abiola, at the National Theatre in Lagos.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the revised itinerary, describing it as a slight adjustment to the President’s schedule. Tinubu is expected to remain in Lagos for the Independence Day activities before returning to Abuja.
