The White House has disclosed that U.S. President Donald Trump is considering seeking financial support from Arab nations to offset the cost of a potential conflict with Iran.
Speaking to reporters, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the proposal is one the president is “interested in,” noting that further details are expected in the coming days.
Leavitt added that diplomatic engagements between the United States and Iran are ongoing and showing positive progress. However, she emphasized that Iran’s public statements differ markedly from its private communications with U.S. officials, highlighting a gap between rhetoric and behind-the-scenes negotiations.
