The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, has formally received former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and his supporters into the party, describing the development as a significant moment for Nigeria’s democracy.
Kwankwaso was officially received into the party at his Miller Road residence, where party leaders and supporters gathered to witness the event.
Speaking during the reception, Mark stated that Kwankwaso’s entry into the ADC reflects a deliberate effort by opposition leaders to unite and strengthen democratic participation across the country.
He added that the move signals a collective response to growing calls from Nigerians for a more cohesive and effective opposition capable of safeguarding the nation’s democratic system.
