President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to Attahiru Jega, Special Adviser on Livestock Development, following the death of his wife, Hajiya Hadiza Jega.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, who attended the Janazah prayer for the late Hadiza at the National Mosque in Abuja, conveyed the President’s sympathies to Jega and his family.
The development was disclosed in a statement signed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga.
In his message, the President described the late Hajiya Hadiza as a woman of uncommon grace and character, noting that she was a strong pillar of support to Professor Jega throughout his public service career, including his tenure as chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
